Attention Glenwood Parents, there will be Kindergarten and 8th grade graduation and 5-8th grade track pictures tomorrow morning. 8th graders need to bring their caps & gowns. Track kids will get their jersey in the morning but wear shorts or sweats for pictures. Thank you!
Bus 8 is running about 30 minutes late due to some mechanical issues. The route is still being ran, but it will be late.

The Glenwood R-VIII School District is now taking applications for regular and substitute school bus drivers for current and anticipated openings. These employees will drive district buses to safely transport students between bus stops and school, on field trips or as assigned. If you are interested, please call 417-256-4849 for more information, or come by our district office.
Tonight is Literacy Night! There will be food, fun, the book fair, and most importantly, reading! Supper begins at 5 PM followed by activities at 6:15 PM. We hope you will join us for an exciting night under the stars!
This Friday, September 30th will be Picture Retake Day! If your child missed pictures or needs to have their picture retaken, Friday is the day! Please contact the school with any questions.
Fall pictures will be on Wednesday, August 31st! Be looking for the packets sent home.

Good evening. Tomorrow, Friday, May 6th, is the last day of school at Glenwood! Reminder, the awards ceremony for grades 1-2 will be at 8:30AM, grades 3-4 will be at 9:15AM, and grades 5-7 will be at 10:00AM tomorrow morning in the Glenwood gym. Also, school will dismiss at 12:15PM tomorrow. Parent pick-up will begin at 12:00PM. Thank you, and have a great evening!
Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for field day today. However, we do plan to do the color run tomorrow. Please have your child pack dry/clean clothes tomorrow, and have them wear shorts/pants and shoes that can get dirty. Thank you!

Tomorrow is the beginning of an important week of testing for all Glenwood students. K-2 students will take the Stanford test, and students in grades 3-8 will take the MAP tests. Attendance is extremely important! Please help us by ensuring your child is at school and on-time each day. A good night of sleep each night is very important too!
