Due to the forecast for winter weather to begin this evening, the PTO event at Skateland has been postponed. The event has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 16, from 6:00-8:00PM. Also, 2nd quarter awards are scheduled for tomorrow. If school is canceled due to snow, the awards assembly will be held at the same times on the next day school is in session. Thank you!
This message is to share information regarding West Plains High School. The West Plains R-7 School District will be dismissing early today due to issues with electricity. This will NOT impact Glenwood. However, high school students will be coming home early today. A bus will pick up any high school students living in the Glenwood district who are unable to get a ride home. But, again, the Glenwood R-8 School District will not be impacted and will continue to operate a normal school day. Please note that the high school does not currently have working phones due to the power outage. Thank you!

The Glenwood PTO will host a winter family engagement event at Skateland on Thursday, January 9, from 6:00-8:00PM. This will be free for all Glenwood families, but parents/guardians will need to stay with their children throughout the event. Concessions will be available to purchase. We will also have our 2nd quarter awards assemblies on Friday, January 10th. Grades PK-2 will begin at 2:00PM, with grades 3-5 beginning at 2:45PM. Thank you!

Parents and Guardians: Our lost and found is getting very full. We are putting all of our lost and found items out on tables in the main hallway between the main entrance and the junior high hall. Just a reminder, the basketball games at Fairview have been rescheduled for tomorrow. The bus will leave before school is out, and players will be taken to McDonalds before going to Fairview. The Booster Club will provide $10 for each player to eat, but players will be responsible for anything above the $10 provided. Order of the games will be: B-team girls, B-team boys, A-team girls, then A-team boys. Games will begin at 5:00PM. Thank you!
