2019 MISSOURI STATE SCHOLASTIC CHESS TOURNAMENT
\r\nThe Glenwood Knights Chess Team traveled to Columbia, Mo to participate in the Missouri Scholastic Chess Tournament on March 30, 2019. The tournament was held at Battle High School and conducted by the Missouri Chess Association. We had five team members participate this year and we are very pleased with their performance in the tournament. No one medaled, but the K-5 team placed 14th out of 34 teams with only two players and K-8 team placed 12th out of 32 teams with only 3 players. A full team is four players. We are extremely proud of their accomplishments this year and we hope to have more participate next year.
